MHA Golf Tournament: June 8, 2015

Join Manitoba Hotel Association Members and Allied Members on June 8th for a great day of golf at the Selkirk Golf & Country Club.

Entry fee of $195 per person includes lunch at Selkirk Golf & Country Club, green fees, cart, and dinner after the tournament at the Selkirk Inn & Conference Centre, a registration gift, and a team prize. Pricing includes GST.

Only the first 144 golfers entered get in, so please enter as soon as possible. To register, click here to download the registration form, and either mail or fax to the MHA office. This event is open only to MHA Members and their guests, MHA Allied Members, and invited guests of the MHA.

Golfing on Monday
Lunch and registration will begin at noon, shotgun start is at 1:00 pm. Dinner will follow at the Selkirk Inn & Conference Centre.

2015-16 MHA Board of Directors Announced

The MHA takes great pleasure in announcing our Board of Directors for 2015-16 and welcoming Kevin Kelly of the Oakbank Motor Hotel as East Zone Director.

The North Zone is currently vacant as no candidates were nominated. The MHA would like to thank past North Zone Director Alan Gibb for his time on the Board. The MHA By-Laws authorize the Board to appoint a Director to fill any vacancy on the Board.

In the West Zone, Michael Danyluk was re-elected and will begin another 2-year term. We owe thanks to Naomi Neufeld of the Swan Valley Super 8 for also running for this position.

In the East Zone, Justin Schinkel was re-elected and Kevin Kelly was acclaimed, both on a 2-year term.

In the Winnipeg Zone, Mike Roziere was re-elected to a 2-year term. Ginna Sapozhnik, Joel Waterman, and Herb LeGrange were all worthy candidates for this one position.

The Board of Directors may appoint up to three Director-at-Large positions during the first meeting of the new Board which will take place in June 2015.

MHA '15: Tradeshow Booths Now Available

We are very excited to inform you that the MHA '15 TradeShow will be at the Victoria Inn Hotel in Winnipeg on October 20th, 2015.

For over 50 years, we have proudly organized and produced Manitoba's top hospitality show, and we are excited about the 2015 show. Make connections with owners and managers from across Manitoba, to build your sales throughout the year. If you sell to hotels and restaurants, a booth in the MHA TradeShow should be part of your company's sales and retention strategy for the upcoming year. You'll see important buyers, secure new leads, and reach customers you're not able to contact regularly.

Our past 3 shows at the Victoria Inn have been great successes with both the number of booths and the number of attendees. We promote the MHA TradeShow to qualified buyers from hotels, motels and restaurants throughout Manitoba.
